What is race, actually? Let's talk about colours - human colours and skin colours. Such variety (and infinitely more than the narrow categories of 'race'). It's like tea: black tea, green tea, white tea, red tea (rooibos, although in China black tea is red tea) and of course oolong (a mix... the best kind, in my opinion!)... not forgetting herbal teas and tisanes of course. That's 5 narrow categories. There are SO many teas in the world. There are SO many woods in the world (ebony, pine, cherry....) - I'd rather think in terms of colours and gradations and tones and hues and shades - like an artist, basically. India is a subcontinent and Indian skin comes in all colours - the darkest brown of the May faces and the palest white of this June face. She is a special strong woman - look at the calm and brave happiness in those eyes - she's dressed up as a male, as Krishna. Let's paint her, let's honour her. And let's hope she's wearing some kind of deodorant as those are some tight clothes, especially around her - beautifully, delicately depicted - armpits!
