TAROT exhibition at the Warburg, London

This was a great exhibition about the history of tarot, I saw it with some beloved students recently. It was a good reminder of the main highlights of the European history of tarot cards. These are my photos (of basically every single thing: you will have to download and zoom into some of the writing to read it) - but what a great potted historical overview of this tradition.

Great Mughals exhibition at V&A Museum

This exhibition had the most miniature paintings I'd seen in one exhibition for a while. So I took photos of all of them for you, to browse in your armchair. Apologies for quality, you should be able to download and/or zoom in and see close-ups if there are any you like. Enjoy!

Eventually, I was able to see the exhibit yesterday, so impressing!

I absolutely loved every single piece.. and so well organised too. Even the sounds in the background were impeccable and definitely contributed to the magic of the experience.

Thanks for the advice :)

Silk Road Exhibitions - British Museum and British Library

Doing all in one - photo essay for those that are not in the UK.

British Museum first:

Some nice objects, felt like 'Silk Road for beginners', good introduction but I wanted more. Also - only one giant room, basically, and I felt like I wanted to see more

This I liked

Medieval Women in their own words

The British Library show Medieval Women in their own Words is a must-see if you're in London - if not, here is a photo story below for you to browse!

Christine de Pizan is the main woman that springs to mind... top of mind. The City of Ladies - there are others, and they are covered in this show

I sprained my ankle recently and thankfully medicine today is so sophisticated. I was touched by this story

Smelled amazing! Love how they made this show as sensuous as possible and interactive too
