Sharing some work
I just finished this piece. It is based on a poem by my grandfather written in 1913 titled Forest Bridal Song. The painting is still fresh for me so I’m not sure what I think about it as I really can only see the mistakes. This is my second attempt at painting woth the miniature techniques so it’s natural to feel awkward. 🙈 Overall I love the process of using the watercolors opaquely and outlining. The steps
suit my temperament very well. I look forward to more classes in the future! ♥️
