Final painting for Vaishali's intro class
I just completed Intro to Persian Painting with Vaishali. So, there are several tragic areas on this painting, but hopefully, Vaishali, you will be able to give me suggestions. First, I rescued the poor animal from the dragon's teeth. Just saying. As for the not so hidden faces in the painting, I kept seeing puppy faces in all the rocks, which seems a bit out of character for the painting. I did plant a camel, a sea creature, and a seal, in addition to puppy faces. I also had trouble creating a menacing dragon--took forever to wipe the smile off its face.

Happy holidays all! Lovely to see and actually it brightens up the dull lull between Christmas and New Year! Thanks for sharing Jenny. How did you do the gold? Lots of people I know are interested in how to get a smooth gold - transfer gold is easier than loose leaf. I love your choice of colours and your 'floating island' part at the top balances the whole composition out!
