Flying carpets! Flying objects have a long history, not necessarily only from the 1001 Nights. Flying urns, flying baths and even flying sofas - this class will focus purely on flying carpets as seen in 20th illustrations of the Arabian Nights from my archives (and a sneaky miniature or two). We've got to do this at least once. After the hardworking construction of the Make a Carpet Page class comes this play class at the end of the year - a whimsical painted magic carpet.
