We take this c.1780 Jaipur star map depicting the northern and southern celestial hemispheres as well as other Indian star charts as inspiration and either recreate both or either hemisphere or make a fictional map of the constellations as they exist in the imagination. This class may be paired with the upcoming famous Iskandar’s horoscope, a famous Islamic zodiac chart, a lavish manuscript painting with lapis and gold, thinking about the differences in culture and era that produced these.
