Female miniature painters! I’m glad to read about these. Sahifa Banu made copies of Behzad’s work (sometimes spelt Bihzad); I’m looking forward to teaching a class on Behzad and his famous camels next year at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts. Ruqaya Banu also did a contemplative man and copied European works, which was something Mughal artists did - we study that in my Melancholia class too in early January (https://www.vaishaliprazmariteaching.com/book-online).
